- Describe the world you come from — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how the world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.
For example it was mind racking, going to a school where grades take a big part. It determines whether you play a sports or not. I can admit that i have made mistakes, and those mistakes i had to overcome, there was points where i wouldn’t stay after school and finish homework because i would rather go to soccer practice or just go play soccer in general. But in the long run it all backfired. That’s where i made a big academic mistake. Knowing that i should have stayed after school and finish homework and class work than rather play soccer. Knowing academic work takes a big part of sports, i had got cut from the team. So that’s when all pride from my family went away. So then knowing i had stay after school and persevering everyday so i could get back of the team. So that’s when i gained pride from my family because what parent really wants to see their kid fail. But during the time i wasn’t playing i still practiced with them.
Knowing by next progress reports i would be back on the team, and all of my classes i’d be on pace, That is what i call a big achievement. The best quote to describe this is “ when you know what you want, and want it bad enough, you will find a way to get it” Jim Rohn. Another big thing I’m expected to do is go to college. Not just to higher my education but to set an example for my little siblings. But soon my goals will be accomplished. Senior year is going by so fast, the semester is about to end and I am expected to finish all classes. I hopefully am going to finish all my classes this semester so that next semester i can start fresh with no behind work.
P.S.A Essay
Animals Abuse The Number one abused animals in the U.S is Dogs & Cats, but I Am specifically talking about dog abuse. Statistics Show In the United States alone 1.13 million animals are used in testing and research every year. Also More than 15million warm blooded animals are used in research worldwide, and often kept in extremely uncomfortable cages with little or no medical care. People engage in animal abuse in every city around the world, for many different reasons. Animal abusers come in all walks of life, from all professions, and all classes. Many times animal abuse is not as easily evident as it is with pet owners who viciously beat their pet. The signs that show owners abusing their pets are Wounds can be seen on their skin, Limping or having difficulty in walking and always left outside with no care. So my suggestion to all pet owners is if your animal has any of these signs and you caused them or refused to do anything about it, the word “pet owner” shouldn’t apply to you.
